Planning a holiday dinner? These 10 Simple and Delicious Holiday Side Dish Recipes are all winners that are sure to be enjoyed by everyone!
Whether you plan to make just one or two side dishes or a whole lot of them, any of these recipes would be a delicious addition to your menu…and they’re all easy to make!
So, when it comes to celebrating Thanksgiving, Christmas and other holidays, picking the main dish is usually a no-brainer. Turkey, ham, prime rib, and lamb are probably the most popular choices (or perhaps it’s tofu turkey if you don’t eat meat).
It’s all the yummy side dishes, though, that really stand out and make the meal special and memorable. Don’t you agree?
Many are traditions that we love and look forward to every single year. But I also like to try a new recipe or two each year to keep things interesting.
A few years back, I put together a list of 10 of my favorite holiday side dish recipes from right here on the blog. Since then, I’ve added a bunch more recipes, so I thought it was high time to do another round-up of 10 more of my favorites to share with you.
Most of these new recipes are veggie-based sides, but believe me, any of them will make you want to eat your vegetables! I’ve also got some easy dinner rolls and even a risotto (this one would even be a great main dish for our vegetarian friends).
And, if you stay to the end, I’ve also included 2 bonus recipes that I just couldn’t leave out because it wouldn’t be a holiday in our family without them!
On to the list we go! I hope you find a recipe (or a few) that you’d like to try!
